From 25 to 27 June 2026, SOPRODA will take part in the first Benin Salon Expo Avicole, to be held at the Cotonou Convention Centre. Organised by the Interprofession de l’Aviculture du Bénin (IAB), this event will bring together professionals from the sector to discuss the challenges and opportunities for the development of the Beninese poultry industry.
A trade fair dedicated to the development of the poultry sector in Benin
The Benin Salon Expo Avicole provides an opportunity to meet and exchange views with breeders, producers, distributors and other stakeholders in the region’s poultry sector. It will enable participants to share experiences, discuss the needs of breeders and explore the prospects for the Beninese market.
Against a backdrop of growing demand for animal protein, the development of poultry production is a key challenge in meeting the needs of the local market. Professionals in the sector must, in particular, keep production costs under control, optimise poultry feed, select suitable equipment and maintain good rearing conditions despite climatic constraints.
This exhibition will provide an opportunity to address these issues and discover solutions tailored to the realities of Beninese poultry farming.
