From November 28 to 30, 2023, Soproda took part in the 24th edition of the Salon Avicole Dawajine in Casablanca, a major event organized by the Fédération Interprofessionnelle du Secteur Avicole au Maroc (FISA). The show, which brought together players from the poultry and food industries, offered an ideal platform for exchanging ideas, discovering the latest innovations and discussing the challenges facing the sector.
Under the theme “Poultry, a pillar of food sovereignty in Africa”, the 2023 edition highlighted the central role of poultry farming in the continent’s food security. Discussions focused on the importance of developing local, sustainable solutions to improve poultry production and farm management. The Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, Mohamed Sadiki, emphasized the strategic importance of poultry farming in achieving food self-sufficiency for Morocco and Africa.
Soproda Listens to the Needs of Local Stakeholders
Soproda was proud to take part in this event as a major player in tropical poultry farming. Our Director, Philippe Guillou, had the opportunity to meet entrepreneurs from Benin, Guinea and Burkina Faso. These meetings enabled him to better understand the specific challenges of each market and to propose solutions adapted to local realities.
During the event, Soproda showcased its state-of-the-art equipment and comprehensive solutions for poultry farm management. We presented our range of specialized equipment for breeding, hatching, feeding, packing and slaughtering, adapted to the specific needs of African producers.
