Career Opportunity : Operations Manager in Guinea

We are recruiting an Operations Manager to oversee a poultry company producing and marketing day-old chicks in sub-Saharan Africa.

Your Mission

As Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of the technical and operational management of a company with 25 employees, all of whom are already trained and autonomous. You will work with a team consisting of a technical manager, a hatchery manager, a maintenance manager, an administrative assistant, and a sales manager. In this role, you will be responsible for:

✔️ Supervising the farm of 15,000 breeding hens and the hatchery, ensuring quality, performance, and biosecurity.
✔️ Manage administration and monitor supplies (feed, consumables, veterinary products), as well as manage inventory.
✔️ Manage staff, ensuring administrative follow-up, team cohesion, and motivation.
✔️ Organize the company’s operations, ensuring good coordination between the different departments and the smooth running of daily activities.

Profile Required

✔️ You have experience in managing and running agricultural businesses, ideally in Africa or in a tropical climate.
✔️ You have managerial skills and a keen sense of organization.
✔️ You are proficient in production monitoring, planning, and reporting tools.
✔️ You are rigorous, independent, and versatile.
